Loughshore Trail
Loughshore Trail

The Loughshore Trail is known as Route 94 of the National Cycle Network and is a bi-directional 113 mile cycle route that encircles Lough Neagh. Lough Neagh itself lies at the very heart of Mid- Ulster and is the ideal destination for a cycling break suitable for families and enthusiasts alike. The Loughshore Trail is a unique cycleway, not only because of its location but because it uses quiet country lanes and consists of mainly flat terrain. As well as providing breathtaking views the trail also incorporates over 25 major sites of interest including marinas, nature reserves, parks and sites of archaeological interest. Many of the sites along the route host interpretation panels providing information about the Trail, local history and flora and fauna.
