Shopping

The City of Lisburn offers a superior shopping experience. With ample car parking facilities, easy access and the brand names you expect, it is time to explore what Northern Ireland's newest City has to offer - you will be spoilt for choice . Country markets such as those in held in the Courthouse in Hillsborough, are an Aladdin's cave of treasures while the antique shops in Ballinderry and Lambeg complement the major High Street retail outlets and family businesses in the centre of Lisburn.  Indeed the pedestranised Bow Street, the newly extended Bow Street Mall and the new Lisburn Square where the weekly Tuesday market and speciality Saturday Markets are held have made the City a shopper's paradise.

Sprucefield Shopping Centre, located at the Sprucefield roundabout where the A1 main road from Belfast to Dublin meets the M1 Motorway, already has a reputation for regional shopping excellence and can only improve with the new Sprucefield Park that opened in Autumn 2003.

Lisburn Square is an innovative and exciting new development set around an attractive open square of beautiful Georgian and Victorian designed buildings creating a " Covent Garden" feel of excitement and colour by day and night. It is also the home to the City's Tourist Information Centre and Gift Shop. If shopping becomes too much, why not take a break in one of the many cafes or restaurants, or just sit and watch the world go by.
