Lap the Lough 2010

One of the largest cycling events in the Irish Cycling Calender with over 1200 competitors in 2009

Lough Neagh is the largest lake in Ireland and Britain and the thrid largest in Western Europe. At over 35km long and 20km wide, needless to say it's quite a water feature. Lap the Lough is not exclusively for the elite or club cyclist but for anyone up for a challenge.

The event, now in its 5th year aims to encourage as many cyclists to do 1 lap of Lough Neagh on the Sunday before the Northern Ireland Bank holiday in August and subsequently raise cash for good causes. So if you've been waiting for this opportunity to get back in the saddle...here it is!
